Dana Smith

Vice President, Organizational Health & Performance at Communities In Schools National Office

Dana Smith began their work experience at Communities In Schools of North Texas in 2005, starting as the Chief Executive Officer. Dana later took on the role of Director of Program Research and Grant Development in 2008 and then became the Director of Community Investments & Volunteerism in the same year, until 2010. Smith concluded their time at the organization in 2016 as the Director of Organizational Development. In 2016, they transitioned to the Communities In Schools National Office, holding various roles including Sr. Director, Organizational Health & Performance and Vice President, Organizational Health & Performance.

Dana Smith obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from Baylor University. Additionally, Dana obtained a certification as a Licensed Master's Social Worker from the National Association of Social Workers.
