Karen Roddie

Karen Roddie serves as the Senior Program Manager for Programmatic Partnerships at Communities In Schools National Office since September 2023. Roddie has been the creator of The Chicago in 77 Project since January 2017, inspired by the book “Chicago in 77,” which reflects their experiences exploring Chicago's communities. As the owner of Treat Your Space, LLC, launched in September 2015, Roddie provides professional home organizing services. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director of Community Partnerships at Communities In Schools of Chicago from October 2011 to September 2023 and various roles at the Consortium on Chicago School Research at the University of Chicago from November 2006 to December 2010. Roddie began their career with AmeriCorps VISTA from August 2002 to August 2004. Roddie holds a BA in Psychology and Religion from Ashland University and an AM in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration.
