Michael Vance

Michael Vance has extensive work experience in the education field. Michael currently holds the position of Director of Special Education at the Community Academies of New Orleans, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Student Services at New Orleans College Prep from 2018 to 2021. Michael also worked in the Recovery School District as a School Psychologist from 2010 to 2013 and as a Network Team Member from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as an Instructor at Louisiana State University from January to May 2009.

Michael Vance has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from Louisiana State University, which they earned from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
