Stephanie J

Stephanie J has extensive experience in the education sector. Stephanie currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer at Community Academies of New Orleans since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at St. Tammany Parish Schools from July 2014 to June 2021. Stephanie also held the position of Director of Schools at the Recovery School District from July 2013 to August 2014. Stephanie has also worked as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Capital One-New Beginnings School Foundation from June 2010 to May 2013. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks including curriculum development, teacher support, student discipline, and implementing assessment strategies.

Stephanie J holds a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Jackson State University, which they completed in 2005. Stephanie furthered their education by earning a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from William Carey College, which they completed in 2009.
