Sherika Bagot is a Support Counselor at Community Access Unlimited, where Sherika works with the Developmental Disabled. Prior to this, Sherika served as a Peer Counselor at Kean University, mentoring incoming college students into the EOF program. Sherika also held leadership positions in various student organizations during their time at Kean University and volunteered at UMDNJ. Community Access Unlimited
Community Access Unlimited (CAU) is dedicated to providing community access through effective and comprehensive support services for individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, and people with affordable housing needs, giving them the opportunity to live independently and to lead normal and productive lives as citizens integrated into the community. The organization celebrated its 37th anniversary in 2016. CAU serves more than 5000 individuals per year in areas of housing, life skills, employment, money management, socialization, and civic activities. CAU also supports opportunities for advocacy through training in assertiveness, decision making, and civil rights.
