Kemp Shuey has been the Executive Director at Community Action since June 2014. Prior to that, they served as the Wish & Volunteer Services Director at Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon from October 2004 to June 2014, where they successfully grew the program by 57%. Kemp also managed a $1.5 million budget and oversaw the Volunteer Services program with over 250 volunteers across Oregon and Clark County, WA. From June 2001 to June 2003, Kemp was a Planning Assistant at Metropolitan Council Twin Cities.
Kemp Shuey attended Willamette University, where they obtained a BA in Politics. They then attended Portland State University and obtained a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising in the field of Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management.
