Kimberly Northup Wright has a diverse work experience history. Kimberly currently serves as the Executive Director at Community Based Care, a role they started in August 2022. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, they worked as the Executive Director at Sunrise Community, Inc, where they successfully reversed a budget deficit and championed regulatory compliance for 17 properties. Additionally, they streamlined the enterprise-wide strategic planning process for the Sunrise Group of Companies and implemented the plan at the local level.

Before joining Sunrise Community, Inc, Kimberly worked as an Independent Consultant from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they were sought out by community and national nonprofits to design and streamline participatory change events, improve processes, and enhance program design and engagement. Kimberly also launched training & development programs to improve board selection and effectiveness.

Kimberly's earlier experience includes an 8-year tenure at the University of Tampa, where they held various positions, and ultimately served as the Director of Leadership Engagement. During their time there, they oversaw a team, renamed and rebranded the department, and focused on driving growth and student involvement in the leadership development program. Kimberly also founded and co-chaired the Leadership Resource Team to enhance leadership programs and collaboration on campus.

Kimberly Northup Wright has a Master of Arts (MA) and a PhD (ABD) degree in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. Kimberly also holds a Master of Science degree in College Student Personnel from Miami University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communication, with a minor in Journalism, from a joint program between Florida State University and Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University.
