Laurie McDaniel has a diverse work experience in finance and management. Laurie started their career at Caldwell County Government as an Interim Finance Director in October 2002 and later became the Finance Director from July 2003 to August 2005. Laurie then joined HomeCare Management Corporation as a CFO in August 2005 and was promoted to CEO from February 2014 to December 2015. Since January 2016, Laurie has been working at Community Based Care, LLC, where they initially served as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial reporting, accounting, receivables, and budgeting. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Finance and is a member of the executive team, providing strategic planning and change management for the organization.

Laurie McDaniel earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Appalachian State University between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Administrative Management from Gardner-Webb University from 1985 to 1987.
