Alisa Blair is an accomplished legal professional and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Law at UC Irvine, where Alisa teaches Criminal Procedure and a seminar focused on racial justice in the criminal legal system. In addition to academia, Alisa holds the position of Policy and Special Projects Director at the Community Based Public Safety Collective, working to enhance neighborhood leadership and safety through grassroots organizations. Alisa also serves as the Interim Policy Director at the Pacific Juvenile Defender Center, advocating for systemic reforms in juvenile defense. Prior experience includes advising the District Attorney on juvenile matters in Los Angeles County and serving as a Deputy Public Defender for nearly eighteen years.
