JOB PURPOSE
As a Pediatrician at Heartland Community Health Center, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to children from birth through adolescence. You will work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment focused on holistic care, prevention, and health education that includes Primary Care, Behavioral & Mental Health, Dental Care, and Pharmacology Care. This position offers an opportunity to practice medicine in a supportive and inspiring setting while addressing the unique healthcare needs of your patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics.
Valid medical license to practice in Kansas.
Valid Kansas DEA license.
Active Basic Life Support Certification.
Valid Mental Health First Aid Certification (completed upon hire).
Previous experience in a community health setting is preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Moves equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
Moves throughout the building to meet with employees, patients, or visitors.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Frequent communication with patients about their experience at the health center. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as tablets, scanners, printers, and phones.
Adhere to process protocol or procedures.
