Emilie Transue M.D. Mph

Emilie Transue, MD MPH, currently serves as a General Adult Psychiatrist at Community Care of West Virginia since July 2023. Emilie's prior experience includes completing a Public Psychiatry Fellowship with the American Psychiatric Association from June 2020 to August 2023 and serving as a Psychiatry Resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center until the same date. Additional roles include Health Mentor for the American Heart Association, Patient Safety Fellow with the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, and leadership positions within the Psychiatry Student Interest Group Network (PsychSIGN) and the Jewish Healthcare Foundation focusing on palliative care. Emilie holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, a Masters of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Arts in Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Rutgers University.
