Sergio Balegno is an accomplished marketing executive with extensive experience in research content and campaigns. Since 2002, Sergio has served as Founding Partner and CEO of Ascend2, a firm that collaborates with marketing technology companies and digital marketing agencies to generate demand and provide content solutions. As a co-founder and Managing Partner, Sergio also contributed to Ascend2's development of SystematicMarketing, a marketing automation platform. In addition to these roles, Sergio is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Community Connections Inc., which offers vital services to individuals with disabilities in Massachusetts. Previous positions include Director of Research Content at MarketingSherpa, President of MBA Marketing Communications—a consultancy for European technology companies entering the U.S. market, and Vice President of Marketing at PBA, where strategic initiatives significantly increased revenue.

When an accident required her to use a wheelchair for 6 months, Donna Sabecky, our founder, became aware of the unique needs encountered by people with disabilities and the lack of adequate services to meet those needs. This awareness drove Donna to open Community Connections in 1985. The organization has grown to 8 locations for more than 800 program participants. Community Connections offers day habilitation, life skills, employment services, individual supports and transportation services. Our organization is staffed by more than 300 dedicated employees in a caring, compassionate environment that helps our employees thrive in the workplace and make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
