Michael Hofmann

Michael Hofmann serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Pennybyrn, a leading senior living community in High Point, North Carolina, since November 2018. Previously, Hofmann held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President at Palliser Furniture Ltd. from 2018 to 2023, and Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Beaulieu America between 2016 and 2018. Earlier roles include Executive Vice President of Research & Innovation at Serta Simmons Bedding, Executive Vice President of Operations at Sealy, and various senior positions at Hillrom, where responsibilities included global engineering and European operations management. Hofmann began his career as a Quality Control Technician at Hillshire Brands while funding engineering studies at the University of Cincinnati, where Hofmann earned a Master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering. Additionally, Hofmann completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.
