Kristy Giltner

Kristy Giltner is an experienced educator currently serving as a Response to Intervention Math Tutor at Community Consolidated School District 181 since April 2021. Giltner has been involved in private tutoring since August 2012, specializing as an SAT/ACT tutor which includes pretesting students to determine the most suitable exam, as well as personalized study planning, and reviewing assignments weekly. Giltner also tutors students in math from grade school through pre-calculus. Prior to the education sector, Giltner held various roles in the corporate world, including Merchandise Manager at Levi Strauss & Co., where leadership of a team of 30 merchandisers was pivotal, and Key Account Manager at Briggs & Riley Travelware, managing a $7 million sales territory. Additionally, Giltner's experience includes roles at Spiegel and Nike, where significant contributions to sales growth and merchandising strategies were made. Giltner earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Northwestern University, graduating in 1989.
