The Community Group
Tarah M. has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and organizations. Tarah started their career in 2009 as a Constituent Services Representative for the U.S. House of Representatives, where they served until 2012. In 2013, Tarah joined UP Education Network and held various positions, including Associate Manager of Recruitment, Manager of Recruitment (Selection), and Director of Outreach and Partnerships. Tarah then worked as a Visiting Fellow for Education Pioneers in 2016. Currently, they are employed by The Community Group, where they have held the roles of Director of Recruitment and Resource Management, and currently serves as the Director of Talent.
Tarah M. holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Boston University. Tarah also has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University. Additionally, Tarah has certifications as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM, obtained in October 2023, and as a Jobvite Hire Certified Expert from Jobvite, obtained in 2016.

The Community Group (TCG) is a private, nonprofit organization creating opportunities through education since 1970. TCG manages a range of programs, including a network of early childhood and out-of-school time programs, a network of charter and district public schools, consulting and training programs, and a child care resource and referral program, Child Care Circuit.
