Parisa Esmaili

Parisa Esmaili is the Executive Director at Community Financial Resources, a position they have held since November 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Director from December 2017 to November 2019 and the Director of Partnerships from December 2016 to November 2017. In their current role, they are responsible for expanding financial inclusion through product and education by leveraging the principles of behavioral economics, trauma-informed practices and cognitive behavior therapy techniques.

Parisa has spent their career working to reduce intergenerational poverty and build the financial capabilities of low-to-moderate income households. Parisa began their career as a Growth Manager at ICA Fund Good Jobs before moving to Community Financial Resources, where they have served in a variety of roles over the past four years. In their previous role as Partner Relationship Manager, they were responsible for establishing and leading strategic partnerships to enhance employee financial wellness across industries and sectors.

Parisa is a dedicated advocate for financial inclusion and works tirelessly to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to build a better future.

Parisa Esmaili is a Master of Business Administration (MBA) candidate at Mills College's Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business, where they focus on social venture and impact investing. Parisa received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Marymount Manhattan College in Communications and Media Studies.
