John Hirabayashi

John Hirabayashi has extensive experience in the credit union industry. John started their career in 1980 at Pentagon Federal Credit Union, where they served as the Manager of CONUS Branches until 1989. John then joined Patelco Credit Union as Chief Financial Officer for a brief period from June 1989 to March 1990. In March 1990, they became the President and CEO of Cal State 9 Credit Union, a position they held until January 1996. In January 1996, John Hirabayashi transitioned to Community First Credit Union of Florida, where they currently hold the role of President/CEO.

John Hirabayashi attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 1977 to 1980. During this time, they pursued a Bachelors degree in Finance. Following their undergraduate studies, they then enrolled at Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 1982 to 1986. During this period, John completed their MBA, with a focus on Finance.
