Renee Helfenstein is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Renee started their career as an Electronic Sales Manager at Index Stock Imagery in 1993. Renee then worked as an Account Manager at Focalink, where they established the company as a major web media technology provider on the East Coast. In 1997, Renee joined CNN as an Account Executive, selling advertising space on various web platforms. Renee later moved to MatchLogic, where they served as an Account Director and managed client relationships, eventually overseeing a team of eight. Renee joined Classmates.com as a Strategic Alliance Manager, developing partnerships and customized marketing programs. In 2003, they launched their own company, The Office Mom, providing efficiency solutions to businesses and households. Renee later joined Hoffman Design Build/Living Spaces as a Marketing Manager/Office Manager. In 2009, Renee became the Senior Regional Director at the American Heart Association, raising funds and managing events. Renee then joined Shurn Group in 2015 as the VP of Business Development, handling all aspects of business development for a unique Marketing and Branding firm. Most recently, Renee has been working at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, first as the Director of Special Events & Community Outreach and then as the Senior Director, leading and creating successful events to engage donors and cultivate relationships, while also focusing on advocacy and fundraising opportunities. Throughout their career, Renee has consistently achieved exceptional results, exceeding revenue goals and building strategic partnerships.
Renee Helfenstein earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Marketing from American University. Renee attended American University from 1984 to 1988.
