Krista Millay

Vice President Of Community Impact at Community Foundation for Southern Arizona

Krista Millay, ThD, currently serves as Vice President of Community Impact at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona since July 2025. Previously, Krista held the position of Director, Fellowships at The OpEd Project, leading initiatives to promote social justice and amplify underrepresented voices through fellowship programs. Prior to that, Krista was the Sr. Director of Student Engagement at the University of Arizona, focusing on experiential learning for students and supporting equity-deserving populations. As Vice President of Community Impact at the Women's Foundation of Southern Arizona, Krista directed grantmaking programs and secured over $1M in funding for equity initiatives. Krista also served in various roles at the University of Arizona, including Director of the Women's Resource Center, contributing to student support and community engagement. Additionally, Krista has experience as an adjunct instructor in ethics and as a benefits specialist, alongside a background working with youth in emergency shelters. Krista holds a Doctor of Theology from Boston University, along with advanced degrees in theology and religious studies.
