Jason Jones

Jason Jones has extensive experience working in the nonprofit sector, particularly in social action and volunteering charities. Jason has held various managerial roles at Volunteering Matters, including National Team Manager, in which they led volunteer recruitment and matching programs and managed partnerships with organizations in 15 countries. Jason also served as Head of Wales, South West, and Midlands, overseeing project delivery and staff teams across diverse areas and setting and monitoring complex financial budgets. Prior to their work at Volunteering Matters, Jason worked as an Investment Manager at the National Lottery Heritage Fund, where they worked on grant funding programs and collaborated with the Welsh Government on environmental programs. Jason is currently working as a UK Portfolio Officer at The National Lottery Community Fund, where they handle a portfolio of grant funding programs across the UK.

Jason Jones has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Swansea University. Jason also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of South Wales. Additionally, they have certifications in Managing Safely from the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, obtained in May 2015, and Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
