Marie Mongeon has a diverse work experience that spans across different organizations and roles. Marie began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2014. In 2015, they transitioned to the University of Rochester where they served as a Teaching Assistant. Later that year, they joined The George Washington University as a Research Assistant and eventually became a Senior Research Assistant and Research Associate. In 2018, Marie joined the Community Health Care Association of NYS as a Policy Analyst and steadily progressed to higher roles such as Director of Policy, Senior Director of Policy, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Policy.
Marie Mongeon has a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Health and Spanish from the University of Rochester.

CHCANYS is the voice for community-based primary care in New York, representing 70 community health centers that operate more than 800 individual sites in every region of the state, serving more than 2 million patients annually. CHCANYS offers a wide range of services to its members, including advocacy and policy analysis, training and technical assistance, clinical quality initiatives, workforce development, and health information technology.
