Doug McMillen started their work experience as a Medical Resident at Emory University School of Medicine from July 2002 to June 2005. Doug then worked as a Physician at Emory Healthcare from August 2005 to September 2011. Following that, they became self-employed as a Locum Tenens Physician, working across the country on temporary assignments. From November 2011 to January 2012, they worked at the VA of Sierra Nevada, Carson City CBOC in Minden, NV. From February 2012 to June 2012, they worked at the VA of Central California, South Valley CBOC in Tulare, CA. And from July 2012 to October 2012, they worked at CHC of Snohomish County. After that, they joined the Community Health Center of Snohomish County and held multiple roles, including Clinical Director from December 2012 to October 2014 and from October 2014 to August 2022. Doug also served as the Chief Medical Officer - Interim from August 2022 to July 2023, and currently holds the position of Medical Director.
Doug McMillen earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Biology and English from Kenyon College in 1998. Doug then went on to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine degree in 2002.
