Alena Caglar is a seasoned behavioral health clinician with extensive experience in providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Currently serving as a School-based Behavioral Health Clinician at the Community Health Center since August 2021, Alena previously held the position of Clinical Coordinator at The Village for Families & Children, focusing on intensive therapeutic services for children aged 5-12. Earlier roles include IICAPS Clinician at Boys & Girls Village, delivering in-home psychiatric services, and various positions in cartography, including Cartographer at Globe Pequot Press and Cartographic Technician at the U.S. Forest Service. Alena holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University, along with a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Cartography from Bridgewater State University.
