Leslie Gianelli

Leslie Gianelli has a strong background in communications and public affairs. Leslie has held various leadership roles throughout their career, starting as a Vice President at Powell Tate, where they worked closely with clients on communications strategies for both domestic and international projects. Leslie then served as the Director of Public Outreach at the Global Health Council, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive advocacy communications plan. Following this, they became the Director of Marketing and Communications at Jhpiego, where they oversaw internal and external messaging and traveled extensively to observe maternal and child health programs. Later, they joined the Connecticut Hospital Association as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs, where they worked on aligning messaging and expanding digital assets. Leslie then moved on to AmeriCares as the Director of Communications, where they were responsible for communications in a global health and disaster response organization. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Communications at Community Health Center, Inc., where they develop and directs strategic communications.

Leslie Gianelli obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in American Studies from Mount Holyoke College in the years 1980 to 1983. Following this, they pursued a law degree at the University of Connecticut School of Law from 1983 to 1986, earning a JD in Law.
