Katherine Brown

Katherine Brown has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Manager of STAR+PLUS/MA Training at Community Health Choice since November 2020, and previously as Supervisor of Medical Affairs Training. At Amerigroup Corporation, Katherine held the position of Manager-HCMS from September 2007 to March 2022, overseeing a team of 14 associates, including 10 clinicians. Before this, Katherine worked as a Precertification Nurse at AmeriChoice, performing clinical reviews for various services, and gained nursing experience as an LVN at Tenet Healthcare, where responsibilities included general healthcare and complex wound care. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Texas A&M International University, an Associate’s degree in Registered Nursing from Excelsior University, and a Bachelor of Science in Leisure and Recreational Activities from Grambling State University.
