Kimberleigh Joy Smith

Kimberleigh Joy Smith is the Senior Director of Public Policy & Advocacy at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. Previously, they were the Vice President of Policy, Advocacy & Communications at Harlem United from February 2014 to December 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Vice President of Policy & Advocacy at Harlem United Community AIDS Center from January 2010 to April 2014. In this role, they provided the vision, conceptual leadership and operational management for GMHC's women-specific HIV prevention, policy and community-based research arm. From April 2006 to June 2009, Ms. Smith was the Director of Women's Institute at Gay Men's Health Crisis, where they again provided the vision, conceptual leadership and operational management for GMHC's women-specific HIV prevention, policy and community-based research arm. Ms. Smith has also served as the President of the Board of Directors for The Paul Rapoport Foundation from July 2009 to July 2015 and as the Chair of the Policy Committee for Women's HIV Collaborative of New York from January 1999 to December 2005.

Kimberleigh Joy Smith has a Master's in Public Administration from New York University's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University School of Journalism.
