Steve Dobbs

Steve Dobbs, FACHE, serves as the Vice President of the Operations Group and Regional President and CEO at Community Health Systems, overseeing 12 Merit Health hospitals and 120 physician practices in Mississippi. With prior experience as CEO of Urologic Specialists of Oklahoma and Hillcrest Medical Center, Mr. Dobbs has demonstrated a commitment to comprehensive healthcare services. Leadership roles also include CEO positions at OSU Medical Center and Fawcett Memorial Hospital, in addition to serving as CFO at Wesley Medical Center and DeTar Hospital. A professional background that began with auditing at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas and financial roles at HCA Management Company complements Mr. Dobbs's extensive healthcare administration experience. Mr. Dobbs holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University and a Master's in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis.
