Michael Sutphin

Michael Sutphin is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager for Community Housing Partners since September 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing internal and external communications, corporate brand management, and public relations. Concurrently, Michael has been a Council Member for the Town of Blacksburg since 2011, participating in various committees and previously holding the position of Vice Mayor. Prior experience includes roles as Public Relations Coordinator and Writer at Virginia Tech, alongside editorial positions at Collegiate Times. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Virginia Tech.
