Alicia Tallack is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Indigenous relations and community-focused initiatives. Currently serving as the Manager of Indigenous Strategic Initiatives at Community Living BC since August 2021, Alicia leads efforts in cultural safety and reconciliation, overseeing a growing team and implementing key deliverables. Previous roles at Community Living BC included Indigenous Relations Practice Advisor, where support for cultural safety initiatives was emphasized, and Quality Service Analyst, focusing on service delivery and client needs. Prior to that, Alicia worked as the Vancouver Island Community Coordinator for United for Literacy, developing and managing Indigenous literacy programs. Additional experience includes program management with the One Earth Initiative, co-founding The Nettles' Guild, and various research and administrative roles. Alicia holds a Master of Arts in International Development from Simon Fraser University, along with multiple undergraduate degrees and certificates in related fields.
