Tracy Sears has worked at several organizations. Tracy started working at SafeHouse Center in March 2013 as a Crisis Call Volunteer, where they provided support, information, and resources to individuals calling in on the 24-hour crisis line. While working, they also prepared shelter suites for incoming residents and completed office-related tasks for the staff. Tracy moved to First Step Project on Domestic and Sexual Violence in January 2014, where they worked as a First Responder Intern, providing information, support, and resources to individuals calling in on the crisis line. Tracy also provided nurturing and support to children in the shelter program and clients. In December 2014, they started working at Community Living Services as a Supports Coordinator, where they provided supports and services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Tracy worked with the organization's community resources to find employment and volunteer opportunities and achieved the independence and freedom of those they served. Tracy later became a Director of Community Supports in April 2023.
Tracy Sears received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University between the years 2012-2014.
