Heidi Kone

Heidi Kone, M.A. has extensive work experience in various roles within the nonprofit sector. Heidi currently holds the position of Director of Contracts & Insurance at Community Research Foundation. Prior to this, they worked as a Nonprofit Consultant at Heidi Kone Professional Services. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Grants and Contracts Manager at the San Diego Regional Task Force on Homelessness, overseeing the distribution of state and federal funding for homeless support services and housing. Heidi also worked as the Director of Institutional Giving at Jewish Family Service of San Diego, where they managed a grants, contracts, and compliance department. Before that, they were the Director of Grants and Government Affairs at Meals on Wheels San Diego County. Heidi Kone, M.A. completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science/International Relations from California State University San Marcos. Following this, they pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Women's Studies from San Diego State University, which they obtained in the year 2010. Additionally, they completed a Fundraising Certification Program from UC San Diego, focusing on Fundraising and Development, as well as Grant Writing.
