Assistant Director Head Start/early Head Start at Community Services Agency

Katie Metz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katie is currently working as the Assistant Director of Head Start/Early Head Start at the Community Services Agency, a role they began in June 2022. Prior to this, they were the Executive Director of Casa de Vida Reno from December 2021 to April 2022. Before that, Katie held various positions at Renown Health, including Community Benefit Business Partner, Manager of Child Health Programs, and Child Safety Coordinator. Katie also served as the Administrative Office Manager at High Quality Organics EU from February 2016 to May 2017. Earlier in their career, Katie worked at Women In Need, Inc. as a Program Supervisor and Counselor/Employment Specialist, and at Hamilton County Job and Family Services as an Ongoing Children's Service Case Manager. Katie began their career as a Case Advocate at Women's Crisis Center.

Katie Metz pursued their education at Xavier University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Their major was Criminal Justice, and they also chose to minor in Psychology during this period. Later, from 2011 to 2013, Katie attended the University of Cincinnati and completed a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
