3rd. Wilfred Stebbins

Wilfred Stebbins, 3rd. SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Wilfred currently holds the position of VP HR and Finance at Community Services Institute since September 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager of Human Resources and Business Development at the same company from January 2014 to September 2020. Additionally, they held the position of Interim Coordinator in the Department of HR & Finance from October 2013 to December 2014.

Before joining Community Services Institute, Wilfred worked as an Independent Consultant from January 2010 to 2013. Wilfred provided consulting services in various fields during this time.

From December 2006 to December 2009, Wilfred was the Sales Manager at Refined Stone, where they developed an outside sales program and established relationships with contractors. Wilfred also implemented a digital marketing program, including a new website and internet marketing.

Prior to that, Wilfred worked for Answer Connecticut/ACT Teleservices from December 1996 to December 2006. Wilfred started as an Account Manager and was promoted to Sales Manager. Wilfred focused on developing new channel markets and expanding the customer base.

In the earlier years of their career, Wilfred served as the Director of Operations at Central Communications Inc., a telecommunications company, from November 1985 to November 1995. Their responsibilities included HR services, IT management, sales management, and marketing.

Wilfred also has experience in the museum industry, as they worked as an Assistant for Rights to Reproduction at Wadsworth Atheneum from December 1982 to August 1985. Wilfred developed a program for copyright protection, collaborating with the museum's curatorial staff, legal counsel, and registrar.

Wilfred Stebbins, 3rd. SPHR has a diverse education history. In 1982, they worked as an intern in the Department of Painting & Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1982, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in the History of Art from Connecticut College. Before attending college, between 1976 and 1978, they attended Wilbraham & Monson, although the specific degree and field of study during this period are unknown.

In addition to their educational background, Wilfred Stebbins, 3rd. SPHR obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification in July 2022 from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
