Director Of Transportation, Pelivan Transit And The Northeast Oklahoma Tribal Transit Consortium at Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA)

Kendra Sue McGeady currently serves as the Director of Transit for Grand Gateway EDA dba PELIVAN TRANSIT since March 2016. Additionally, Kendra holds the position of Gaming Commissioner for the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission from October 2020, and is a National Board Member for the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) representing rural and tribal transit providers since May 2020. Kendra is also a Board Member for the Southwest Transit Association and served as Chairwoman of the Cherokee Phoenix Editorial Board of Directors from September 2014 to October 2020, overseeing significant decision-making for the oldest tribal news publication. Previously, Kendra was the Director of Planning and Development for Home of Hope, Inc. from December 2012 to February 2016, focusing on fundraising and grant writing, and worked as a journalist for the Vinita Daily Journal from January 1998 to November 2012, specializing in judicial reporting and government coverage. Kendra holds an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.
