Madeleine Cravens

Madeleine Cravens is a dedicated educator and creative professional with significant experience in teaching and writing. Currently serving as a Lecturer and Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University since April 2022, Madeleine also contributes as a Teaching Artist at Community-Word Project and a Writing Instructor at Writopia Lab. Previous roles include Online Editor at The Columbia Journal, Development and Outreach Associate at The Brooklyn Rail, and Research Assistant positions at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and Oberlin College. An alumna of Oberlin College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and Creative Writing, Madeleine is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Columbia University.
