Laura Engelbrecht

Laura Engelbrecht is a skilled Physician Assistant with extensive experience in outpatient internal medicine and patient care across diverse age groups, including women’s health services. Since October 2019, Laura has been providing care at Community Care Physicians, P.C. Previously, Laura worked at Family Medicine of Malta, where responsibilities included evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide patient demographic. Earlier roles include medical assistant at Newcomb Health Center and significant health policy research work with the NYS Department of Health on childhood obesity initiatives. Laura holds a Physician Assistant degree from Stony Brook University, a Master of Public Health from the University at Albany, and a BA in Political Science from Elmira College.
