Tanay Tandon

Tanay Tandon is the Chief Executive Officer at Commure since October 2023 and has served as Co-founder and CEO of Athelas since June 2016, where Athelas develops innovative software tools for healthcare systems and successfully raised $130 million from notable investors such as Sequoia Capital and YCombinator. Prior experience includes research roles at Stanford University’s AI Department, specializing in computer vision and natural language processing, as well as positions at MetaMind and Wit.ai, focusing on deep learning and NLP model development. Tanay began a career in software development with Clipped.me, creating applications that summarize content using LSTMs, and contributed to Trringg Systems as an Android developer for a voice-activated calling app. Current academic pursuits include studies at Stanford University since 2015.
