Sergio Aleman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Sergio has held various management positions with different companies.

Starting in 1995, they worked as the VP of Maintenance at Lineas Aereas Allegro, S.A. for nearly seven years.

In 2002, Aleman joined Aeromexico Connect and served as the Director of Quality Assurance. Sergio later became the Director of Purchasing, managing the Materials Departments and Stores. Finally, they held the position of VP Technical - SubDirector Tecnico, overseeing the Engineering and Maintenance Organization.

In 2013, Aleman joined Embraer and took on two roles. First, as the Business Development - Program Manager, they sought business opportunities and cost reductions in material services for customers. Second, as the Manager of Components Repair Cost Management and Repair Contracts Administration, they managed the repair cost of over 25,000 components at various repair stations.

Most recently, Aleman joined CommutAir (dba United Express) in 2020 as the Managing Director of Materials & Sourcing. In this role, they lead materials planning, strategic sourcing, purchasing, repair management, and stores for the company. Sergio also negotiates and manages material services agreements.

Throughout their career, Aleman has consistently demonstrated their expertise in negotiating and managing agreements, controlling costs, and ensuring operational efficiency in the aviation industry.

In 1981, Sergio began studying at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. Sergio completed their studies in this field in 1985.
