Jules Kala

Jules Kala is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and education, currently serving as the Manager of AI at COMPAGNIE IVOIRIENNE D’ÉLECTRICITÉ since July 2019, where responsibilities include designing AI systems for electrical asset management and overseeing the R&D department. Prior to this role, Jules held lecturer positions at Durban University of Technology from February 2014 to January 2023 and at Catholic University of Bamenda from October 2011 to October 2012, focusing on C++ programming. Jules holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Universite de Dschang, a Second Cycle Technical School Teacher Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Bamenda, and two PhDs from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Images Processing and Patterns Recognition.
