Lorena Vasquez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sensory and consumer research management, primarily within the food and beverage industry. Currently serving as Commercial Director at Compañia de Elaborados de Café ELCAFÉ C.A. since January 1988, Lorena has conducted workshops and training in various countries including Ecuador, Mexico, and the USA. Prior experience includes significant roles at Nestlé South Eastern Africa, where Lorena managed sensory laboratories and led sensory studies to support R&D and product optimization. With dual Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Pharmacy from the State University of Guayaquil, Lorena has a strong foundation in scientific principles applied to sensory evaluation and consumer insights.
