Thomas Silverston

Thomas Silverston is an Associate Professor at Shibaura Institute of Technology since April 2018, with extensive experience in Future Internet research, including Information-Centric Networks (ICN), Internet of Things (IoT), Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and Network Function Virtualization (NFV). Previous positions include Researcher at NICT, Visiting Researcher and Researcher at The University of Tokyo, Researcher at the Japanese-French Laboratory for Informatics (JFLI), and Associate Professor at Université de Lorraine, where involvement in the Inria team project Madynes took place. Thomas Silverston completed a PhD in Computer Sciences at Pierre and Marie Curie University, with a focus on Peer-to-Peer Video Live Streaming.
