The board of directors at Companyon Ventures has a history of experience in law and accounting, with members having worked at Aber Law Firm, PC, as well as in venture capitalism at OpenView Venture Partners. Additionally, the board has experience in the software industry, with members having served as Vice President and General Counsel at ScriptLogic Corporation, and as Senior Legal Counsel at BMC Software. Both the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston Law Center are represented on the board, with members having studied accounting and law respectively.
