Son Tung Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Son Tung started their career as a Software Engineer at Vinova in 2012, where they worked closely with the CEO to build a game studio and led a team of five engineers on the development of Kingdom Defense, an online tower defense and card collection mobile game.

In 2014, they joined Nio Games as a Software Engineer and later transitioned to N3TWORK INC as a Senior Software Engineer in 2015. At N3TWORK INC, they played a significant role in developing AI and replay features for Tetris Royale and worked on an unannounced blockchain game based on Ethereum smart contracts. Son Tung also continued developing features for Forever Donuts after N3twork acquired Nio Games, including guilds and guild chat, guild-vs-guild events, stepped gacha, kingdom builder meta-game, and AI bot for a puzzle mini-game.

In 2019, Son Tung Nguyen joined Mino Games as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led the development of major features for Cat Life, a Facebook Instant game that gained millions of players. Son Tung also developed a dynamic GPU-friendly text rendering system that allowed Cat Game to support multiple languages outside of the ISO 8859-1 character set, including Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

Most recently, in 2021, Son Tung Nguyen became a Founding/Senior Software Engineer at Comparative, where they continue to utilize their expertise and contribute to the development of the company's projects.

From 2008 to 2012, Son Tung Nguyen attended the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

In 2009, they obtained the Sun Certified Java 6 Developer certification from Sun Microsystems.

In February 2020, Son Tung Nguyen completed the "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra" course from Imperial College London on Coursera.

In March 2020, they also completed the "Mathematics for Machine Learning: Multivariate Calculus" course from Imperial College London on Coursera.

From 2020 to 2021, Son Tung Nguyen pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
