Ashley Daugherty

Ashley Daugherty is an experienced educator and dance instructor with a diverse background in teaching and administration. Currently serving as a Dance Instructor at Temecula Dance Company since August 2019, Daugherty has also held various roles at Compass Charter Schools since July 2016, including Orientation Coordinator, Assistant Principal, K-8 Coordinator, Scholar Success Coordinator, and Virtual Learning Teacher/Coordinator. Prior experience includes teaching dance at Pacific Motion Dance Center and San Diego Danceworks, and a teaching position at Academy of Arts and Sciences focused on digital literacy. Daugherty began the teaching career as a Fourth Grade Teacher at Painted Rock Elementary and as a Home Hospital Teacher/Substitute Teacher in Poway Unified School District. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from San Diego State University, a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix, and a Clear Multiple Subject Credential obtained from San Diego State University.
