Garra Gao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Garra started their career as a Graduation Ceremony Ambassador at the University of Toronto in 2013. Garra then joined TD as a Customer Service Representative, where they demonstrated exceptional time management skills and achieved impressive sales targets. In 2015, Garra joined Shoppers Drug Mart as a Financial Analyst and later became a Product Analyst, focusing on financial process optimization. Garra transitioned to Loblaw Digital in 2017, holding positions such as Senior Analyst in eCommerce and Product Manager for Growth and Mobile. In 2020, they joined Bidvine as a Senior Product Manager before taking on roles at Compass Digital, where they currently serve as the Group Product Manager and Director of Product Management.
Garra Gao completed a Bachelor of Commerce, with High Distinction, at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2011 to 2015. Their field of study was a Double Specialist in Finance & Economics and Management. In 2014, they also studied International Marketing at Università degli Studi di Siena. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Intro to Virtual Reality (VR) Filmmaking from LinkedIn.
