Vice President Operations IC Food & Beverage at Compass Hospitality

Richard Pietrzkiewicz has extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Richard started their career as the Food & Beverage Manager at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club managed by Dusit Hotels & Resorts from June 1996 to May 1998. Richard then went on to own and operate the F&B Boutique Hotel in Chonburi from May 1998 to July 2003. From August 2004 to August 2012, they worked as the Director of Food & Beverage at Compass Hospitality.

In 2013, Richard joined Hotel & Home Innovation Co., Ltd. as the Managing Director for a brief period of January to August. During the same year, they also joined Scenical Development Co., Ltd. as the Corporate Director of Operations, responsible for the layout and operational procedure design of a 40,000 sq. ft. convention center.

Richard's role at Scenical Development expanded when they became the Chief Operating Officer in November 2015. Richard led the operational integration of a new water park in Khao Yai and managed all aspects of sales and operations for the company, including 2 hotels, a convention center, a park mall, and a water park.

In 2018, Richard joined Compass Hospitality as the Vice President Operations IC Food & Beverage. In this role, they participated in the creation and execution of business growth and performance strategies for the group. Richard also generated revenue through menu engineering, pricing strategy, and marketing techniques, while ensuring compliance across all outlets in Food & Beverage.

Richard Pietrzkiewiez completed their education at various institutions. From 1974 to 1976, they attended Ecole Hotelliere in Mazamet, France, where they earned a Diploma C.A.P in Hospitality Administration/Management. During their time at Ecole Hotelliere, they received one distinction for their exceptional performance. Richard continued their education at the School of Hotel Management in Toulouse, France, from 1976 to 1977, where they obtained a Professional Certificate in Hospitality & Business Management. In 1997, Richard Pietrzkiewiez attended the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) Food and Beverage Management School for a year to enhance their knowledge in Food and Beverage Management.
