David Chen

David Chen is the current Secretary at Compass Housing Alliance. Prior to their current position, David served as the Director of Legal Affairs, HR, and Compliance at Decisive Data from September 2019 to February 2021. As a member of the Executive Team, David was responsible for all legal management and operations within the organization. This included areas such as technology agreements, regulatory compliance, internal investigations, litigation management, contract review, corporate governance, ethics, and risk management. David was also responsible for providing business law support and legal advice in support of sales, product development, technology licensing, procurement, and managed services agreements. In addition to their work in the legal field, David was also Head of Human Resources at Decisive Data. In this role, they were responsible for training, benefits, employee engagement, onboarding and offboarding, compensation strategy, performance reviews, technology recruitment, and professional development.

David Chen received their Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law with a focus in international business transactions. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts at Western Washington University, where they studied economics and political science.
