David Duea

David Duea is the current Director at Compass Housing Alliance. Prior to their current position, David served as the President and CEO of Lutheran Community Services Northwest for 7 years and 9 months. During their time at Lutheran Community Services Northwest, David was responsible for a wide variety of services to adults, adolescents, children, families, schools, businesses, congregations, neighborhoods and communities. Before their time at Lutheran Community Services Northwest, David served as the President and CEO of HopeSparks Family Services for 13 years and 2 months. At HopeSparks Family Services, David was responsible for a wide variety of services to families in need including but not limited to: counseling, crisis intervention, support groups, and resource linkage. Prior to their work at HopeSparks Family Services, David worked at Gateways for Youth and Families for 8 years and 7 months where they held positions such as Director of Community Services and Director of Development and Training.

David Duea attended Pacific Lutheran University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. David then attended City University of Seattle from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a Masters in Business Administration.
