Julie Lacointa

Julie Lacointa is an experienced analyst specializing in competition economics, currently employed at Compass Lexecon since November 2022, where responsibilities include assessing competitive impacts in mergers and acquisitions and quantifying damages in litigation. Previously, Julie completed an internship with the Chief Economist Team at the European Commission in 2022, focusing on the economic impact of competitive cases related to mergers and state aid. Additional internships include a position at Covéa in 2021 and at Altermind in 2020. Julie holds a double master's degree in Economics and Competition Law from Toulouse School of Economics and has a bachelor's degree in economics and law from the same institution, along with a gap year studying Business Administration and Management at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University.
