Lina Hong

Lina Hong is an experienced analyst currently working at Compass Lexecon in the East Coast Competition Practice since August 2022. Prior to this role, Lina served as a Project Associate for Albemarle County from May 2020 to July 2022, where responsibilities included analyzing census data, creating data visualizations, and developing gender affirmation policy. Lina's earlier experience includes a summer internship at Compass Lexecon and serving as a Principal Investigator for a collaboration between the Self Employed Women Association and the University of Virginia, focusing on research methodology and data collection in India. Additionally, Lina worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, developing coding frameworks and managing qualitative data. Lina holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Virginia Frank Batten School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.
